Configuration is the last page under Admin. It holds the settings that belong to this project alone, on five tabs: Properties, Integrations, External Viewers, Note Groups and Members.
- Five tabs - Properties, Integrations, External Viewers, Note Groups and Members.
- Change - each card is edited on its own: Change, then Save or Cancel.
- Project ID - the project's handle; Copy puts it on the clipboard. Support will ask for it.
- Not set - a field that should be filled and is not.
Properties
Three cards, each edited on its own: choose its Change, edit, then Save or Cancel.
Profile
Basic project information: the map thumbnail (generated from the project location; upload a JPEG or PNG to replace it), Project ID with Copy, Creator, Created Date, Project Name, Project Number, Address, Type, Subtype, Contract Value, Project Size, Length Unit and Area Unit.
A field that should be filled and is not shows a warning mark and Not set. The Project ID, like the Workspace ID, is the handle support will ask for.
Project Location
The address, the Spatial Reference System (for example 4326 - WGS 84), and the project origin: Latitude, Longitude and Bearing. These are the values the New Project wizard took at its Location step, and they are the same origin the Skeleton shows on the Site as the PCS.
Every value can be edited here after the project exists: a different reference system, a corrected bearing, a new origin point.
What the coordinates mean, and how buildings and drawings hang off them, is explained in Skeleton - sites, buildings, levels and coordinates.
- Project Location - address, the real-world system (here 4326 - WGS 84), and the project origin: latitude, longitude, bearing.
- Allowed Capture Methods - which capture methods the CupixCapture app may use in this project.
- The info line - says team defaults are under Team > Settings > Standards; the team's setting is under Team Settings > General.
Allowed Capture Methods
Which capture methods the CupixCapture app supports in this project: 3D Map, 360 Virtual Tour and 360 Photo, each Enabled or Disabled.
Integrations
The platforms this project can be linked to. Integrations are set up per project, here; there is no team-level Integrations page.
| Platform | What the link does | Control |
|---|---|---|
| ACC/BIM 360 | Import BIM from ACC/BIM 360 Docs; create Issues and RFIs from SiteViews; add the SiteView Card in ACC/BIM 360 | Link to ACC Project |
| Procore | Create Procore Observations, RFIs and Punch List items in SiteViews; add the SiteView Card to the Procore Project Home | Link to Procore Project |
| Revizto (Beta) | View Revizto Issues in SiteView; verify their 3D as-built condition; sync issues, comments, deep links and 360 images | Enabled or Disabled |
| PlanGrid | Create PlanGrid Tasks and RFIs in SiteViews | Link to PlanGrid Project |
| Oracle Primavera Cloud (Beta) | Import schedule data into SiteInsights; export SiteInsights completion progress; import the SiteView link into Oracle Primavera Cloud | Link to Oracle Primavera Cloud Account |
Each card shows its current state, such as Not linked. Setting each one up is covered in the Integrations category.
- A platform - what linking it does, its state (Not linked), and the button that starts the link.
- Revizto (Beta) - switched on and off rather than linked.
External Viewers
An external viewer is a third-party viewer (Matterport or iTwin) embedded in SiteView, to show 3D models, maps or virtual tours from that platform alongside your captures. A new project has none, and the tab says so; Add Viewer registers one.
Add Viewer - registers a Matterport or iTwin viewer to embed in SiteView.
Note Groups
Notes in SiteView are organised by these groups, for example Coordination, Quality and Safety. The list shows each group, whether it is published, and when it was created and last updated.
New Note Group creates one, and Import brings in a set. Each group's menu has Publish (or unpublish: an unpublished group is hidden in SiteView), Edit, Export and Delete.
- Import and New Note Group - bring in a set of groups, or create one.
- The list - each group with whether it is published, when it was created and last updated.
- A group's menu - Publish (or unpublish), Edit, Export and Delete.
Members
A Permission Levels card gives the product's one-line definition of each project grade:
| Grade | In the product's words |
|---|---|
| Project Admin | Manages the Project Center: members, project assets such as BIM and levels, SiteView setup, SiteInsights, and Deviation analysis. |
| Project Member | Accesses every SiteView in the project, views SiteInsights and Deviation Analysis reports, and can add captures. |
| Guest | Views shared SiteView content, including notes, without adding or changing it. Downloading files is not allowed. |
The tab does not list members itself. Manage Members opens Team Settings > Members with this project already picked; giving someone access to a project is adding them there. See Members - invite, change a permission, remove or deactivate.
- Permission Levels - the product's one-line definition of Project Admin, Project Member and Guest.
- Manage Members - opens Team Settings > Members with this project picked; people are added and changed there.
