SiteView is where you walk a captured site. It opens on a capture — a 360° photo, an aerial model or a drone map — and everything else in the viewer is a way of moving through that capture, measuring it, comparing it with another date, or leaving a note on it.

This article describes the four surfaces you see whichever mode you are in, and points to the article for each tool. If you have used SiteView on CupixWorks 4.0, the section What moved at 5.0 is the fastest way to find where things went.

The four surfaces

The topbar

Along the top: the project name, then the context selector — building, level and work area — and the Capture Date control. On the right sit the viewer-wide actions: Capture Grid, Compass, Capture Intelligence, Download, Info, and the avatars of anyone else in the project.

The tool rail

The vertical strip down the left edge, labelled: Compare, BIM, Notes, Revizto, Measure, Bookmark, Settings. SmartFilter joins it on 3D and drone surfaces. Each icon opens a panel beside it. Two panels can be open at once; opening a third closes the one you opened first.

Revizto in the rail is deliberate, and it is only half of the integration. Whether a project uses Revizto at all is turned on by an administrator in Project Configuration › Integrations; the button here is where you sign in to your own Revizto account and work with it. So the admin half lives in the project’s settings and the user half lives in this rail — a card in one and a button in the other is not a contradiction. Confirmed by the product owner, 2026-09-15.

The viewport

The capture itself, and the floor plan inset in the bottom-left corner. The plan shows where you are standing, which way you are facing, and every waypoint on the level; clicking a waypoint moves you to it. What else appears on the plan — note pins, measurements, work areas, grid lines — is controlled in Settings.

The footer

Capture date and metadata for the capture you are standing in.

Three ways to look at the same place

Right-click in the viewport and View Mode offers three choices: 360° Tour (stand at a waypoint inside the 360° photo), 3D Map (the reconstructed model of the space), and Combined (both at once). Drone captures are their own context, reached from the level list. See Moving around a capture.

What moved at 5.0

• Annotations and OmniNotes are now SpatialNotes. One panel holds every kind of note. FormNotes (what 4.0 called Annotations or Custom Notes) and Photo & Voice Notes are types inside it, not separate features.
• Settings is one panel with twelve categories instead of scattered controls. Grid overlay and work areas moved into it.
• Semantic Segmentation is SmartFilter, and it now carries multi-level isolation and clipping planes alongside the segment classes.
• Capture Intelligence and Compass open from the topbar. Both are Cupix Intelligence features and have their own articles.

What is not in this release

• Plan Viewer as a separate mode, and the free-placement widgets that went with it. Reference plans are still available — they are a Settings category now.
• Point Cloud as its own viewer. Point cloud is a render mode of the 3D map, in Settings.
