Before you can look at anything you have to say where. SiteView narrows that down in steps along the topbar, and each step filters the next.
The cascade
Site → Building → Level → Work area, left to right.
- Building is new at 5.0. On a project with one building you will not notice it; on a campus or a multi-tower job it is where you start.
- Level lists the levels in the building you chose. Drone Capture sits in this list too, as a sibling of the levels rather than inside one — drone data covers a site, not a storey.
- Work area narrows further inside a level, where work areas have been set up.
When a selector is not there
SiteView hides a selector rather than showing you an empty one. A single-building project may show no building selector; a level with no work areas set up shows no work-area selector.
Choosing Drone Capture hides the work-area selector, because drone data is not divided that way.

What the plan inset shows
Once you have picked a level, the plan inset in the bottom-left of the viewport shows that level with every waypoint on it. Click a waypoint to stand there. If you cannot see the level you expect, check the building first — the level list is filtered by it.
