Eight cards, and they are not all the same kind of thing
General is a single column of cards. Three of them are the team's identity, three are defaults new projects and members inherit, and two are switches with consequences beyond this page.

Change, edit in place, Save
Every card edits the same way. Change turns the card itself editable — there is no dialog — and the button is replaced by Cancel and Save; Save stays disabled until something differs. Only one card is in edit mode at a time. What each card offers once open:

The Team URL is not editable here. It is shown with a Copy control in edit mode as in view mode; changing a team's subdomain is not something this page offers.
CupixWorks Version, and the sentence to read twice
The card shows your Current Version and offers an upgrade. Its warning is the important part: Upgrading is permanent — your team can't return to v4.
The card exists only while the team is still on 4.0. A team already on 5.0 does not see it — the QA team's General page (pac demo 1.mp4) has seven cards, and this is the one missing.
There is no undo on this page. Confirmed 2026-09-08: the upgrade is permanent by policy and cannot be reversed by anyone — not by support, not by Cupix. Do not tell a reader to contact support about it; there is no route back to ask for. Treat it as a decision the team makes together rather than a setting an administrator changes.
Team Profile
Logo, Team Name, and Team URL, which is shown as a subdomain — {slug}.cupix.works — with a Copy control beside it.
The logo reaches further than this page: it is the image in the top bar. Removing it is a normal state, not an error — the top bar then shows the team name as text.
Two-Step Verification — the team-wide policy
One toggle, and it decides for everybody. With the policy on, every member of the team is required to use two-step verification: on each person's own Security page the toggle shows as on and locked, marked as required by the team, and they cannot turn it off.
Turning the policy off hands the choice back — each member decides for themselves again, and anyone who had two-step on keeps it on until they change it. So the policy raises the floor; it never switches anybody's protection off.
The second factor is a code emailed to the member (see Personal settings). Enabling the policy commits your whole team to that method.
The three defaults, and what a default does not do
Default Units sets length, area and volume independently. An unset one reads (Not set) rather than quietly taking a value.
Default Language states its own scope on the card: it applies to all team members, and each member can override it in their personal settings.
Defaults seed; they do not rewrite. Changing one gives new projects and new members a new starting point and leaves everything that already exists alone. If you need existing projects changed, that is a job per project, not a setting here.
Self-Service Sign-up
Two parts: whether it is Enabled, and a Team Email Domain. With it on, anyone whose email is at that domain can create a Cupix account and join your team on the free tier.
This is the one card on the page that lets someone into the team without an administrator acting. Worth checking the domain is one you actually control.
Little Planet Nadir Patching
A 360° photo has a hole at the bottom where the tripod was. This setting is the angle of that patch, and the area is filled from the image below it in the sequence.
The range is 1–30° — a small angle patches little, a large one patches more.
Allowed Capture Methods
Three methods — 3D Map, 360° Virtual Tour, 360° Photo — each Allowed or not, governing what the capture app may use.
This card is the team default; each project keeps its own copy. When a project is created, the wizard's Capture Types step starts from the team's setting, and afterwards a Project Admin can narrow it on the project's Configuration › Properties page — for that project only. Other projects and the team default are untouched. So a capture the app refuses for a method reason is explained by one of two cards, and the project's is the nearer one (see Project configuration).
Two things people look for here and will not find
Integrations are not a team setting. The specification describes an Integrations section in Team Settings listing ACC/BIM 360, Procore, Revizto, PlanGrid and Oracle Primavera Cloud. There is no such section, and there is not going to be one — ruled on 2026-08-27. Integrations are set up per project, on Project Configuration › Integrations; see Project configuration. If you are looking for them at team level, that is why the sidebar has no entry.
Compass has a sidebar entry that does not open. It is greyed out and badged Coming Soon. That entry is the team-level Compass AI settings tab, and it arrives in a later release — it is not in 5.0. Compass itself ships in 5.0: the query panel is in the product and has its own article. What is deferred is the place a team administrator would configure it, not the feature.
