CupixWorks 5.0 — this article is still being finished. Screenshots marked to be replaced show the right screens and will be retaken before launch. Taken in a support session, so the top of the screen shows a bar you will not see.
The workspace's Projects page
Open a workspace and its Projects page is the card grid: an Active / Archived toggle, a search box, and New Project at the top right. Each card shows the project's map or image, its type and subtype badge, address, last capture date and a SiteView shortcut.
Clicking a card opens a detail panel on the right: the map, the project's Members with a Manage Access link, a Details card (project number, address, type, subtype, contract value, last captured), and two buttons — Open Project Admin Center and Open in SiteView.
Creating a project — the five-step wizard
New Project opens a wizard with five steps down its left edge: Profile, Location, Capture Types, Members and Summary. Required fields are marked; nothing is created until Create Project on the last step.
| Step | What it asks for |
|---|---|
| Profile | Project Name; Project Type and Subtype; Project Number; Contract Value with its currency; Length Unit and Area Unit; Total Project Area; an optional Project Image (JPG or PNG, 1 MB at most) |
| Location | Project Address, resolved on a map with latitude, longitude and altitude filled from it; Bearing; and the Use Project Origin Coordinates switch, which has an article of its own |
| Capture Types | 3D Map, Virtual Tour and 360° Photo, each Allowed or not for this project |
| Members | The Project Admins and Project Members to add, with the product's own bullets for what each grade can do |
| Summary | Everything above, read back, and the Create Project button |
Types and subtypes come from the team's Standards catalogue — a project can only be given a type somebody defined a level up, which is the cascade Team standards explains.
On Create Project the wizard closes, the new card appears in the Active grid, and a Project created toast confirms it was added to the workspace.
The Project Admin Center, and where Configuration sits
Open Project Admin Center leads to the project's own sidebar. Two entries are for everyone who works in the project — Apps and Analytics — and six sit under Admin: Activity, Captures, Skeleton, Library, Work Areas and Configuration. Skeleton, Library and Work Areas are Project Setup articles; Activity and Captures are administrative pages covered separately in this category. This one is about Configuration.
Configuration has five tabs: Properties, Integrations, External Viewers, Note Groups and Members.
Properties
The Profile card repeats the wizard's first step for editing, behind a Change button: Project ID with a Copy control, Created Date, Project Name, Project Number, Address, Type, Subtype, Contract Value, Size and the two units. The Project ID, like the Workspace ID, is the handle support will ask for.
Below it, the Project Location card — address, spatial reference system, latitude, longitude and bearing — is where origin coordinates are changed after creation.
Below that, Allowed Capture Methods: the three methods with their enabled state for this project, and a note that team-level defaults are configured under Team settings. A project can only narrow what the team allows; it cannot allow a method the team has turned off. A capture refused in the app for a method reason is therefore explained by one of two places, and this card is the nearer one.
Integrations, External Viewers, Note Groups
Integrations lists the platforms a project can be linked to — ACC/BIM 360, Procore, Revizto, PlanGrid and Oracle Primavera Cloud — each with a line on what the link does and its current state. Setting each one up is an Integrations article.
External Viewers embeds third-party viewers — Matterport, ArcGIS, iTwin — in SiteView. A new project has none, and the tab says so; Add Viewer starts one.
Note Groups is how notes in SiteView are organised for this project. It starts empty too, with New Note Group and an Import control.
Members
The last tab is the project's member list, with a Permission Levels card that gives the product's one-line definition of Project Admin, Project Member and Guest, and a Manage Members link to Team Settings › Members with this project selected. Giving someone access to a project is adding them here, at one of those three grades; the grades are explained in Project roles and Guests.
