The project grades
CWV5-AC-11 gives a project three grades: Project Admin, Project Member and Guest. Guest is different enough to have an article of its own; this one covers the first two.
The build currently shows a fourth column, SiteView Member, and it should not. Confirmed 2026-09-08: that column is a legacy artefact being corrected, and SiteView Member is a Guest with Read & Write rather than a grade of its own. Three project grades, and the fourth column will go.
What changing a permission actually compares against
When you change someone's permission, the dialog compares against the permission they hold at the scope you are changing — not against their team-level permission. Where they hold a level directly at this scope, that option carries a Current badge and is selected.
Which scope is being changed is decided by where you opened the dialog from, not by the dialog. That matters because two scopes can carry the same name — a workspace and a project can both be called the same thing — so the name in the header is not enough to tell you what you are editing.
Who can see this project
The project's member list is not the full answer. Workspace Admins, Team Admins and Super Admins reach every project below them without being listed on it.
A Project Admin can open Team Settings
This is the part that reads like a mistake and is not one. IA5-SET-PD-07 puts one guard over the whole Team Settings shell rather than a guard on each section, and the list it admits is Super Admin, Team Admin, Workspace Admin and Project Admin. So the highest grade on a single project can reach the team's own settings shell.
What they reach, in the order the build renders it: General · Standards · Templates · Asset Categories · Compass · Members · Groups · License, then a divider and Trash. Compass is greyed out and badged Coming Soon. That is nine sections; the specification describes eight.
The greyed-out entry is the team-level Compass AI settings tab, deferred to a later release — not Compass itself, which ships in 5.0. Confirmed by the product owner 2026-09-15.
How CupixWorks refuses access, as a rule. Where somebody does not hold the permission, the sidebar item is not shown to them at all. If they reach the URL directly they get a no-permission screen naming the role required, and that screen has no action button on it.
Two places in the build do not follow that rule, and both are registered as defects rather than documented as behaviour: Team Settings redirects silently instead of explaining, and the Guest gate offers a Request Access dialog. Whether either is fixed before the open is being confirmed.
