What CupixConnect is for
CupixConnect is a desktop application for Windows and macOS that moves large site data between your computer and CupixWorks. It exists because the files this work produces — point clouds, drone image sets, whole SiteViews — are bigger than a browser upload can reliably carry.
Everything it does is one of two things: send data up to a project, or bring data down to your computer. The app opens on those two tabs and nothing else.
The Upload tab — five ways in
Each card is a different kind of source, not a different destination. All five land in a project you choose during the flow.

One naming note. Two of those card labels still say TwinCapture. That is the old name for the mobile capture app, which is now CupixCapture; the app and the cards do the same thing they always did. This article uses the current name in prose and the old one only where it quotes what is on the button.
The Download tab — two ways out

Settings — two folders and a language
The gear in the top right opens Settings. There are three things in it and two of them matter when something goes wrong.

| Cache folder | Where files are cached during each upload. Change to move it. This is the folder to clear first when an upload or download keeps failing. |
| Language | English, and the app follows this rather than your CupixWorks setting. |
History — and how to resume an interrupted transfer
History, at the top of the window, is the panel to open when a transfer did not finish. It has an Upload tab and a Download tab, and each lists every transfer with its name, level, file size, start time, status and a completed count such as 100/100.
A transfer that stopped part-way shows Stopped with a partial count — 9/100 — and a retry control on its own row. When anything is incomplete the panel says so at the top and offers Resume All.
Nothing is lost by closing the app mid-transfer. The partial work stays in History and resumes from where it stopped rather than starting again.
