About the screenshots in this article. Some were captured through a development harness that can put the app into a given state directly. A screenshot proves the screen exists and what it contains; it does not prove that state is what you will meet by default.
What this card is for
TwinCapture Upload continues an upload that the CupixCapture mobile app started. You record on the phone; the app sends the capture data; this card sends the image files, which are far larger.
The card is still labelled with the old name. TwinCapture is what the mobile app used to be called; it is CupixCapture now. The card and the app are the same ones.
Two ways to give it the files, and the choice is about where the files are right now, not about the camera model.
| Choice | When it applies |
|---|---|
| 360° Camera | The camera is plugged into this PC over USB and Connect reads it directly. |
| Folder | The files are already copied onto this PC, or sit on an inserted SD card. |
If the camera is not detected
Choosing 360° Camera when Connect cannot see one opens Camera Not Detected. It asks for your camera model — Insta360 or Ricoh — and offers Troubleshooting Tips.
Picking Insta360 and continuing opens Check USB Mode of Camera, which is the single most useful screen in this flow: a numbered procedure for putting the camera into the mode where the PC can read its drive, with a diagram per model — ONE X2, ONE X3, and ONE RS 1-inch / RS / R. It ends with Retry and Still Won't Connect.
The order matters more than anything on this screen. Connect the cable to the computer, then turn the camera on, then connect the camera to the cable — see FAQ: Camera to computer connection issues.
Adding the files
The Add Files step states its two prerequisites plainly: insert the SD card or camera cable into a computer USB port, then drag the 360° video or photo files in, or browse for them. The drop zone states the file size limit.
Review and Upload — and reading the status column
The last step lists what will be uploaded, grouped workspace › project › capture date, with who captured it. Each row is a capture with a Files count, a Level, and a Status.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ready to Upload | Every file this capture expects has been found on the computer. |
| 1 file missing | The capture data lists a file that is not in the folder or on the camera you pointed at. |
A Captured by filter switches between Me and All Members, and a line records when the capture data was last checked against the server, with a Check Server link to refresh it.
If nothing is ready, a red banner says so: “We cannot find the correct files. Please make sure you connected the correct camera, or selected the correct folder containing the files you want to upload.” That is a pointing problem, not an upload problem — go back and choose the other source.
Uploading
Upload starts it. The progress screen shows a percentage and a file count, and asks you to keep the page open until it finishes; Stop Uploading cancels. When it finishes you get Upload Complete! and Done.
